Coach Hall returns to
his alma mater, adding to an impressive coaching resume that spans 20
years. He had previously assisted at
Ready and served a long stint at Franklin Heights. Hall wrestled for the Silver
Knights, graduating in 1981, where he was a 2x Regional Qualifier. Following graduation, he wrestled at 150 lbs.
for the University of Dayton Flyers, where he was a four-year captain. He teaches Science at Franklin Heights, where he has been for most of his career. Coach Hall and his wife, Sally, have three
children.

RODRIGUEZ

Coach
Rodriguez begins his eighth year of coaching and his second at Bishop
Ready. A graduate of Revere High School, Rodriguez was a four-year starter,
capping his prep career as State runner-up at 36-1. He attended The Ohio State University and
wrestled under Russ Hellickson in 1991-92. Rodriguez transferred to the University of Pittsburgh in 1993 where he graduated with honors
in 1995.
While in
college he was the Assistant coach at Westmont Hilltop and Ferndale Area High Schools in PA.
He moved back to northeast Ohio in '97 and stepped away from the sport
pursuing a corporate position for five years.
In 2001 Rodriguez moved to Columbus and began coaching again as an Assistant
at Franklin Heights.
Following that, he assisted in developing the brand new program at
Central Crossing for three years until 2005.
Coach Rodriguez is married to Veronica and has one daughter, Vivian.
AL ROZMAN

Coach Rozman enters his first year coaching wrestling, but with
an extensive coaching resume in a variety of sports. He works with the lightweights and in
live-wrestling situations. Mr. Roz wrestled at 103, 112 and 119 for Solon High School, and was an off-season product of the Milkovich wrestling legacy.
Rozman is married with two children.
CHAD GARVER

Rarely is a coach in
competition shape, but that is exactly what Coach Garver
brings to the table. Entering his
fourteenth year of coaching (2nd at Ready), Garver
has spent time at East, Columbus Academy, Westland, and most recently, West. While coaching at West, he helped lead them
to a City League Championship (the first in school history) and a member of the
Coaching Staff of the Year in 2006. He
was also the head coach at Briggs High School for one season. A graduate of
East High, Garver was a District Qualifier and City
Champ during his senior year at 125 lbs.

TEAM COACH
Coach Scott Nicola
enters his seventh year of coaching (1st at Ready). Previously, he assisted at Athens High School, Bishop Watterson (Youth) and, most recently,
West High School. At West, he helped lead them to
a City League Championship (the first in school history) and twice a member of
the Coaching Staff of the Year (2003, 2006).
In high school, Nicola was a 3x District Qualifier captaining his St.
Thomas Aquinas team his senior season.
He earned his undergrad degree in Social Work from Ohio University, adding a Masters in the same field form Ohio State a few years later.
An excellent top wrestler, Nicola took a step back in coaching this
season to recover from a bad knee injury, spend time with his family and focus
on his professional career. Coach Nicola
is a Social Worker with Columbus Public Schools and St. Vincent Family Center. He is
married to Beth and they have two children, Anthony and Rose.

In his second year
coaching at Ready, Renner did an excellent job in his inaugural season. An organized and technical wrestler, Renner
wrestled in high school at St. Thomas Aquinas, where he captained the team his
senior campaign. A district qualifier as
a junior, Renner sustained career-ending injuries at the beginning of his 12th
grade year, but wrestled at sectionals, nearly qualifying again. He graduated from the University of Dayton and is an Accountant with Cardinal Health.

BADGLEY
HEAD COACH - MIDDLE SCHOOL CLUB
Coach Badgley brings tons
of energy to the Middle School club team.
Entering his fifth year of coaching, this is his second season in the
Bishop Ready program. Previously, Badgley ran the wrestling program at Westgate Recreation Center for three years.
Competitively, Badgley was a 2x District Qualifier at Centerville High School. He attended college at Bowling Green State University and is employed at SupportNet.
CATEY
BEATTY
ASSISTANT - MIDDLE SCHOOL CLUB
Coach Beatty is in her first year coaching. In high school, she wrestled at 103 and 112
for West High School, finishing 3rd in the City League and 6th in the
sectional as a junior. She was a
pre-season Central District All-Star her senior season before sustaining a
season-ending injury. In female
competition, Beatty was a national folkstyle
runner-up in 2005, and went on to wrestle at 51K and 55K for the University of Cumberlands womens team. Beatty plans a career in Elementary Education.
